Nau mai Haere Mai ki te Whare Mokopuna o Otatara. Welcome to Otatara Children’s Centre. It is our pleasure to share in the education and care of your child at our Centre. We deliver a high standard of education and care for all children. We strongly believe in biculturalism and upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Brief Description of the
Centre
Otatara Children’s Centre is licenced as two separate Centres:
Infants and Toddlers: Birth - 2yrs
Toddlers and Young Children: 2 - 5yrs
Licence for Under Two Centre:
15 Children daily (maximum)
Licence for Over Two Centre: 45 Children daily (maximum)
The licence is flexible to allow the stage, as well as the age, of the child to be considered when moving between Centres.
Classification
Early Childhood Education and Care Service catering for children of students and staff of the Eastern Institute of Technology and the wider community.

Monday -Friday
7.45am - 5.15pm
